sunsets are often quite stunning. This is particularly true during
the winter months, when northern upper air currents meet with the
warm, southerly, tropical breezes off the
Baja
Peninsula
and northern Mexico. During
these times the sky frequently explodes in a colorful display of
exotic cloud formations, ending the day in breathtaking fashion.
The
photo, above, was taken during one such event not long before
sunset. A lone ship is seen beneath the sun as it makes it's way to
sea on an unknown journey.
